I am so excited about my new morning time basket!⁣

It holds a ton! What do I have in there? A Bible, Bible curriculum, a devotional book, a couple of read-aloud, a poetry book, logic puzzle books, a couple of geography resources, a book of artists, picture study cards, Latin root cards, vocabulary cards, economics flashcards, and a few brain training games. Whew! ⁣

We loop through Bible and 3-4 other things each morning. In the past, I was forever moving things around because our basket didn't hold everything neatly. Now everything we need is right beside the couch!⁣

I love the colors, too! I'm not the biggest fan of the felt on the outside, but it's so sturdy that I'll get over my sensory issues. 😂

There are a few things I'm always willing to shout

There are a few things I'm always willing to shout from the rooftops about homeschooling, but this one right here matters as much as any other. ⁠⠀⁣

Give your children time (and sometimes resources) to explore their interests. It matters.⁠⠀⁣
⁠⠀⁣
Some kids come into the world with gifts & talents and we really have no other choice than to step out of the way to let them roll on. ⁠⠀⁣
⁠⠀⁣
Other children will simply have interests that may not seem like a big deal...at first. Don't underestimate the power of giving your children a chance to develop those interests. You might be surprised that the interests become passions. Or, better yet, you might find gifts or talents were waiting there all along to be discovered. ⁠⠀⁣
⁠⠀⁣
I've already watched two of my kiddos enter the "real world" with their passions shining a bright light toward their future. Guess who's happy to keep pouring time (and resources) into the third kiddo who is smack dab in the middle of exploring his interests now? 🙋🏼‍♀️⁠⠀⁣
