The Letter T

Preschool Letter T Activities

This is our letter poster that hangs on the alphabet wall – a tissue paper tree.

Eli has loved learning about life cycles. This picture shows a turtle.

Teeth stickers fill in the letter T.

Playing with tools was a favorite dramatic play activity.

Tinkertoys are fun for building!

Dollar Tree workbooks helped Eli learn about triangles.

We sorted foam triangles and made simple concrete graphs.

The foam triangles were fun for free form art, too.

Transportation was a fun “boy” theme to go along with the letter T.

Of course, we couldn’t forget dramatic play with tractors!

Tracing T’s (and other letters and numbers) in cornmeal was great handwriting practice.

  1. I love how your letter units are not theme based!

  2. I have not been here in a while! Great “T” ideas, I will have to use them next year with our two youngest! I hope you have been well :).
