My children have loved how they can personalize the virtual world around them – from decorating a house to adopting a pet buddy.  Everything is so life-like that the avatars seem to walk like real people – and run, jump, climb, swim and dance like real people, too.

Besides the online world, there are four downloadable games for different age levels available to members as well.  And parents even have their own section where they can learn more about the children’s activities, visit a parent discussion board (that answers technical questions among other things), read parenting articles and find parenting tips.

I feel it necessary to tell you that our computer (four years old) on a medium-grade dsl connection took a while to process some of this newer computer technology.  Once inside a section of the world we could easily play, but getting from one area of the world to another took time for our computer to load.  I’m hoping this is only because we are on a slower, out-of-date operating system.  I spoke with Jenny, the lady offering you this chance to win, and she was very quick to respond, telling me my problem was forwarded to the technical department so they could be aware of the issue.

Despite my little problem with speed, I still recommend visiting JumpStart.com and checking it out for yourself!  They offer free demos that allow you to get a feel for everything offered through a membership.
