National Geographic Kit

Posted by Cindy on June 5, 2009

A friend gave my son a National Geographic Skelesaurus not too long ago.  I have eyed this and other similar kits at the store before, but had never purchased one.  It was so much fun!  Caleb had to build the skeleton (it wasn’t hard), then place clay around the skeleton to create skin, and then add skin texture with texture pads that came with the kit.  It ends up looking so real!  Best of all, you can take the whole thing apart and reuse it time and time again!  Great summer fun – thanks, Brooke!

Your site has given me many, many ideas for science and nature study with our varied ages. Yesterday I lost all our bookmarks! and thought I had lost you forever. Glad I could remember what your official name was. Please keep up the fun for us through the summer.
