This sounds fantastic! I would love to have a chance to view the copy. I still have to subscribe to The Old Schoolhouse sometime. We have nature studies every Wednesday but it would be great to have a field guide directed at children. :0)

I have entered before and won a book from you, so I thought I would try again. We are still doing our Nature Study Club and this book would be great for that purpose. Also for just at home I have trouble staying on task with doing Nature Study every week.

Regardless if I was to “win” or not, I need to tell you how much your site has meant to my family. You’ve done an amazing job with your kids and the ideas have been awesome and very inspiring! If you had a site meter you’d see I’m on this almost daily. Thank you so much for giving a mother with very little confidence in her ability to take over her children’s education so much more reassurance that it’s not only possible, but fun. Thank you for empowering me and many of the other mothers that I see comment on your site regularly. You have a great tool for me, I pray you are able continue your work and share it with all!

Okay. I meant to say, “Regardless if I WERE to “win” or not…” Terrible grammer. I should really consider proof-reading my comments! Sorry…
