Quote of the Week

Many parents discover that their homeschool improves when they decide to learn something new themselves and work on it. They set a good example for their child, of course, but they also gain insights into the learning process when they ask themselves: What helped me the most? What interfered with my learning?

1 Corinthians 13 Inspiration

Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth….

Be truthful always.  Sometimes the truth is not easy, but necessary.  Lies, flattery and turning a deaf ear or blind eye will never help anyone.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.

-Ephesians 4:15

On another note, keep your word.  When you say you will do something and then fail to do it, is that any different than lying?

Simply let your ‘yes’ be ‘yes’ and your ‘no’, ‘no’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

-Matthew 5:37
