Yesterday (after an unusually long playtime without arguments), my sweet little rough-and-tumble 6 year old son walks down the stairs fresh from “Mahayla’s Hair and Nail Salon” (located in the bathroom.)  He looks at me with his big blue eye-shadowed eyes, his gelled-to-perfection hair, and his wet-to-the-touch blue fingernails and says, “Mom, can we PLEASE adopt a sister?!?” 

Sorry, he wouldn’t let me take a picture.  Maybe I’ll post one of him in a ballerina outfit after a trip to “Mahayla’s Dance Studio!”
